SGT Dunson is not your average rapper. He has incorporated his experiences in the military into hip hop music. With songs like “If I Don’t Make It Home” which is a letter written from War in Iraq to his family and friends talking about his last wishes if he wasn’t to make it back home from the war. Other songs such as “Over There” and “My 1st Kill” where he describes in detail about the first time he had to kill someone at war. Motivational songs like “Too Much Training” or “Never Give Up, Never Quit.” Political songs such as “We Are The 99” “Proud To Be American” “Black Man Or A Thug” or “Make America Great Again.”

Sgt Dunson beautifully and proudly delivers these messages through cool beats, with great vocals, great technical texturing, and with raw emotions. It is absolutely wonderful to listen to.
